Hello Education is working with Early Years settings and Primary Schools across Middlesbrough, and we’re looking for caring, enthusiastic individuals to join supportive EYFS teams this academic term!
Step into the rewarding role of an EYFS Support Assistant, where every day is filled with creativity, curiosity, and opportunities to support children during the most important stage of their development. From helping little learners build confidence and communication skills to encouraging play-based learning, you’ll play a vital role in shaping bright futures.
Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:
As an EYFS Support Assistant, you’ll help create a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment where children can thrive:
Early Learning Champion: Support children through play-based activities that encourage learning, creativity, and development.
Little Learner Guide: Assist with phonics, early literacy, numeracy, and communication activities tailored to EYFS learning goals.
Calm & Caring Presence: Provide reassurance, patience, and emotional support to help children feel safe, happy, and confident.
Creative Play Partner: Encourage imagination and exploration through indoor and outdoor learning experiences.
Positive Role Model: Help children develop social skills, independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
️ Classroom Support Star: Work closely with teachers and nursery staff to prepare learning activities and maintain a stimulating environment.
We’re Looking for Caring Superstars Who:
✔️ Have experience working with children in an EYFS, nursery, childcare, or UK school setting — or a genuine passion to begin a career in Early Years education.
✔️ Communicate warmly and effectively with young children, staff, and parents.
✔️ Understand the importance of creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for every child.
✔️ Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or are willing to obtain one).
✔️ Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Supporting Teaching & Learning, or Early Years (preferred).
✔️ A full Driving Licence is desirable but not essential.
