Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm

A long-standing, family-owned business based in Poole are looking to recruit an Account Manager on a permanent basis.

Working within a team of 8, this is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and commercially minded individual who thrives on building strong customer relationships and identifying growth opportunities.

Key duties:

• Proactively undertaking outbound calls daily
• Responding to customer email enquiries
• Book appointments for Business Development Managers, ensuring all opportunities are accurately recorded
• Manage and follow up on customer quotes, liaising with internal teams for pricing, stock, and delivery details
• Analyse customer accounts to identify opportunities for growth and increased profitability
• Identify and sell new or existing product opportunities
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, anticipating needs and resolving issues
• Stay informed on product availability, industry trends, and customer requirements
• Handle customer complaints professionally, documenting and communicating resolutions
• Conduct account reviews with BDMs and Sales Support teams

The successful candidate will possess;

• Experience in B2B or B2C environments
• Confident selling over the phone and via virtual meetings
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to interpret data
• Keen to develop product and industry knowledge
• Excellent relationship-building skills
• Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to achieve win-win outcomes
