Summary

Rubik Builders Limited is a Telford-based construction and retrofit contractor looking to recruit a reliable and experienced Office Administrator / Office Manager to join our team at our Wellington, Telford office.
This is a varied and important full-time role reporting directly to the Managing Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day financial administration and smooth running of the office, including processing monthly payroll, day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks, managing accounts payable and receivable, raising and processing invoices, and supporting quarterly VAT returns in liaison with our external accountant.
In addition to the financial duties, the role involves managing office operations, maintaining company records and contracts, supporting new starter onboarding and HR administration, and acting as the first point of contact for the Managing Director.
Candidates must have proven experience in a similar office management or senior administrator role, with hands-on bookkeeping experience using QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero and a working knowledge of payroll processing. Strong Microsoft Office skills, excellent organisational ability, and a professional and discreet manner are essential. Experience in a construction or trades environment is desirable.
This is a full-time permanent position, Monday to Friday, offering a salary of £25,000 to £28,000 per annum depending on experience. An immediate start is available for the right candidate.
