Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

In October 2023, Ofsted identified Trinity Academy Akroydon as a vibrant, friendly and happy place in which to learn. Pupils are proud to be part of our highly inclusive school and, inspired by our vision ‘be remarkable, be determined, be proud’, live out these values through exemplary conduct and attitudes to learning. Like all the schools within Trinity MAT, we are guided by the Trust’s four core principles:

Empathy – Honesty – Respect – Responsibility

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, passionate and inspirational primary or early years teacher who has excellent subject knowledge and is able to contribute to continued improvements in pupil progress.

We are an ambitious and growing Trust which has eleven schools in total: six secondary schools, four primary schools and a post-16 college, spanning five local authorities. This is an opportunity to join a high-impact leadership team, and experience cross-Trust working with members of staff from each of our academies and central support teams

What the school offers its staff

• Exemplary pupil behaviour, supported by a proven Behaviour for Learning (BfL) system ensures a calm learning environment.
• Highly effective support and professional development pathways for staff at all levels, supported by our very own Trinity Institute of Education, West Yorkshire Maths Hub and White Rose Education.
• A range of staff benefits including a Cycle to Work scheme and subsidised health cover.
• A chance to be part of a collaborative Trust that is changing the lives of thousands of young people.

“Staff are proud to work at this school. They are inspired by the considerable difference that their work makes to the lives of all pupils.”Ofsted, October 2023
