A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
A friendly and reliable Personal Assistant is needed to support a bright and chatty 7½-year-old boy living in Penarth. I’m looking for someone who can support me in exploring my favourite hobbies and enjoying them alongside me. I absolutely love football, board games, and computer games, and I’m brilliant at maths! I can be very chatty, and I enjoy sharing my thoughts and ideas with others. As someone with ADHD and ASD, I sometimes find it challenging to cope in group situations, but not always – for example, I really enjoy soft play and playing with other children. On occasions, I may find it hard to lose and might struggle to share or pick up on some social cues, but with the right support, I’m eager to have fun, learn new things, and make great memories.
PURPOSE OF JOB
The main reason for this position is to provide support, enabling me to access and enjoy my favourite hobbies both at home and within the community. Only one personal assistant is required for this position.

Flexibility is essential, as hours can be carried over and scheduled according to my needs and mutual convenience.
As my PA you will be paid for 12 hours per 4 weeks (3 hours per week), mileage and expenses will be reimbursed.
Please be certain you can commit to these arrangements before applying.
RATES OF PAY
£17.10 per hour
Mileage: 20 miles at 40p

It’s important that you are supportive, caring and considerate
Reliability and punctuality matter to me – someone I can depend on
Flexibility is key, as my needs and routines may change
You must be friendly and enjoy chatting
Confidence and a proactive attitude help me feel comfortable.
Respecting confidentiality and being able to work in my home is essential
Experience is ideal but training can be provided as a condition of employment
