Summary
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various welding techniques, including Mig welding. This role involves fabricating and assembling metal components to meet precise specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship throughout the production process. Overtime always available.
Responsibilities
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform welding tasks using Mig welding techniques, ensuring strong and durable joints.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, shape, and finish metal materials.
• Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Overtime available.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles.
• Proficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
• Knowledge of waste compaction & recycling machinery preferable but not essential.
• Familiarity with sheet metal work is advantageous.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A valid welding certification is preferred but not mandatory.
