Summary

Desian Education are proud to be supporting an Ofsted rated “Strong Standard” in Warrington that is at the heart of it’s local community as they require an experienced and qualified teaching assistant to join their EYFS cohort of a full-time temporary basis in September.
This is an extremely exciting opportunity where you will play a crucial role in the development and education of pupils within an EYFS class.

Your new role:
As a teaching assistant within this school, you will be joining an experienced and collaborative team of EYFS professionals. You will work in collaboration with the EYFS lead and class teacher to promote the engagement, focus and development of all pupils within the class by utilising an array of learning resources and building strong constructive relationships. As an experienced member of the team, you will:
- Deliver OPAL (outdoor play and learning)
- Lead on phonics assessments using RWI
- Complete 1:1 and small group guided reading including scaffolding
- Support in the identification on pupils showing signs of SEN
- Completing learn through play sessions to support social and emotional development
- Plan and deliver various educational activities in line with pupil key interests and the EYFS national curriculum

What you need to succeed:
- Full “Right to Work” in the UK
- An NVQ Level 3 Childcare or equivalent qualification
- A passion for supporting young learners
- Expert knowledge of the EYFS national curriculum
- An Enhanced Children’s DBS Certificate or willingness to obtain
