Summary

Class 2 Driver - Washington - New Passes Welcome

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Washington. This role is available on a temporary/adhoc basis and would suit both experienced drivers and new pass Class 2 Drivers looking to gain experience.

The Role:

As a Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:

  • Multidrop deliveries of kitchen units and appliances
  • Nationwide deliveries to both building sites and residential properties
  • Manual lifting and heavy lifting duties alongside a porter
  • Working in a physically demanding environment
  • Following pre-planned delivery routes
  • Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
Hours of Work:
  • Monday to Friday
  • Start times between 04:00am and 09:00am depending on route
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • Valid Class C Licence
  • Valid CPC Qualification Card
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Good work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to carry out manual handling duties
Pay Rate:
  • £14.00 per hour
  • Minimum 8 hours paid per shift
  • PAYE
