Make a Meaningful Difference as a Support Worker

Are you a compassionate, resilient Support Worker with experience supporting individuals with complex needs? We are recruiting dedicated support workers to join our team in Chester, working within a supported living environment that supports adults with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, epilepsy, and behaviours that may challenge, including self-harm.

This role is ideal for someone who can remain calm under pressure, work person-centred, and support individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives.

Your Role:

As a Support Worker, you will deliver high-quality, tailored care to meet individual needs. Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting individuals with mental health needs, autism, learning disabilities, and epilepsy
Using de-escalation techniques to manage challenging behaviour safely and professionally
Providing support around self-harm in line with risk assessments and care plans
Delivering personal care with dignity, respect, and compassion
Supporting daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and community access
Administering medication and maintaining accurate documentation
Working one-to-one and during lone working shifts where required
Encouraging independence, confidence, and emotional well-being
What We’re Looking For:

At least 3 months’ UK experience supporting adults with complex needs
Experience with mental health, learning disabilities, epilepsy, and challenging behaviour
Confidence supporting individuals who may self-harm
CPI training (preferred) or strong experience in de-escalation
Medication administration competence
Strong communication, observation, and resilience skills
Ability to work independently and follow detailed care plans
Enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred)
