HGV Class 2 Shunter – Days – Corby
Location: Corby
Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour
Hours: 7:00am – 5:00pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Shunter Driver to join a busy waste and recycling operation based in Corby.
This is a hands-on and varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys being part of a fast-paced environment and is happy to support different areas of the operation when needed.

Main Responsibilities:
Safely shunting vehicles and trailers around site
Moving bins, skips, and materials across the yard
Supporting general yard and site operations
Assisting with loading and unloading when required
Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
Following all health & safety procedures on site
Requirements:
Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
Valid CPC qualification
Digital Tachograph Card
Previous experience within waste, recycling, yard, or industrial environments preferred
Reliable, flexible, and willing to support operational duties
Desirable Skills:
Forklift licence advantageous
Loading shovel licence advantageous
Candidates without loading shovel experience may still be considered, as training and upskilling opportunities may be available for the right person.
