Summary
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join a well‑established and fast‑paced manufacturing environment in Winsford. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking immediate work, with long‑term prospects available for the right candidates.
The RoleWorking as part of a busy production team, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient manufacture and preparation of goods.
Key Duties:
- Operating automated and computer‑controlled production equipment
- Monitoring production processes to ensure efficiency and output targets are met
- Carrying out quality checks on finished products
- Packing and preparing items ready for dispatch
- Maintaining accurate production records and documentation
- Supporting routine equipment checks and ensuring work areas are kept organised
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
You will be required to work on a rotating shift basis:
- Days: Monday to Thursday 05:45 - 14:00, Friday 05:45 - 12:45
- Afternoons: Monday to Thursday 13:45 - 22:00, Friday 12:30 - 19:30
- Nights: Sunday 23:00 - 06:00, Monday to Thursday 21:45 - 06:00
- £12.71 per hour (Days & Afternoons)
- £13.71 per hour (Nights)
We are looking for individuals who:
- Have previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment (preferred but not essential)
- Are comfortable working with machinery and basic computer systems
- Have strong attention to detail and a focus on quality
- Are reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team
- Can adapt to a rotating shift pattern and fast‑moving environment
- Immediate start available
