The Best Connection are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and reliable Assembly Operatives to join our client's growing team in Knutsford.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working as part of a supportive team, and learning new skills within a busy manufacturing environment. Full training is provided, making this role ideal for candidates looking to develop their experience in production and assembly. This role is temporary to permanent for the right person.
What You'll Be DoingAs an Assembly Operative, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day production process, carrying out a variety of tasks including:
- Assembling components using machined parts
- Using hand tools such as spanners and screwdrivers
- Carrying out basic functional testing
- Supporting packing, dispatch, and general workshop duties
- Assisting with additional production processes when required
- Working towards daily production targets as part of a team
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace
- Completing basic data entry tasks

What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is motivated, dependable, and eager to learn. The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous assembly or manufacturing experience (preferred but not essential)
- Be comfortable using hand tools
- Be PC literate with basic data entry skills
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Work well both independently and as part of a team
- Be reliable, punctual, and willing to get involved
- Possess basic numeracy, literacy, and communication skills
