Summary
Clinical Responsibilities Manage the care of paediatric patients registrar level Perform clinical assessments and contribute to decisionmaking in acute paediatric settings Deliver safe, effective, and timely care under consultant supervision Contribute to the ongoing clinical management of children admitted to paediatric wards Ward and Service Responsibilities Take responsibility forpaediatric base wards on a daytoday basis Support effective ward organisation, patient flow, and clinical prioritisation Implement agreed management plans and escalate appropriately to senior clinicians Participate actively in multidisciplinary working, including MDT meetings Professional and Organisational Responsibilities Work flexibly across Leicester Royal Infirmary, Leicester General Hospital, and Glenfield Hospital, as required Comply with all Trust policies, including statutory and mandatory training Demonstrate commitment to Trust values, equality, diversity, and inclusion Undertake additional duties appropriate to the role as required by service needs
