About the Role
We are seeking an asertive and proactive individual to join our busy Traffic Office team based in Tilbury. We are looking for people who will play a vital part in supporting our operations by coordinating collections, deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. Whether you are new to the world of transport and logistics or an experienced professional aiming to grow within the team, this position offers opportunities for personal and career development for all abilities and skills.

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Employment Type: Permanent – full time
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and manage collections and deliveries using vehicle tracking and traffic management systems
• Maintain accurate and timely data entry related to shipments
• Communicate effectively with drivers, depots, and customers to provide clear updates and resolve queries promptly
• Ensure client enquiries are handled professionally and efficiently
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to support smooth operational flow
• Support continuous improvement by learning new systems and processes
• For experienced candidates, potential to take on management responsibilities and help lead the team

Skills & Attributes
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential
• Helpful, positive, and professional attitude
• Ability to work independently and use your own initiative
• Well organized with a keen eye for detail
• Team player with good interpersonal skills
• Basic keyboard and office IT skills (training on specific systems will be provided)
• Enthusiastic about learning and taking on new challenges
• Experience in logistics or management is beneficial but not essential
