Trainee Forklift Engineer role available in a highly successful and international manufacturer of materials handling equipment. The offers full training in a modern and fully equipped workshop.

To apply for the Trainee Forklift Engineer role, you need to have repair/assembly/fitting experience of mechanical equipment and hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject. Vehicle Technicians will also be very suited to this role.
The role is working within in a team of 12 engineers assembling, building and modifying new forklift trucks. You will be performing PDI’s to a high standard to produce quality forklifts.
The Trainee Forklift Engineer Role:
• Carry out PDI’s on a range of trucks
• Occasional service and repair work
• Part of a team of 12
• Maintain a clean workshop
• Order parts
The Trainee Forklift Engineer Required:
• Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in mechanical, vehicle technician or similar discipline
• Mechanical fitting/assembly/machinery build experience of mechanical equipment
