We are looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Southside Shopping Centre, Wandsworth. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with previous cleaning experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead by example within a fast-paced retail environment.
Role Responsibilities
-Manage and support the cleaning team on shift
-Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard and within agreed SLA requirements
-Maintain high standards across malls, toilets, back of house areas and external environments
-Ensure cleaning equipment is clean, safe and used correctly
-Support with staff training, development and performance management
-Monitor stock levels, uniforms and cleaning consumables
-Complete audits, reports and use mobile devices for operational data/tasks
-Ensure all Health & Safety procedures and company policies are followed
-Deliver excellent customer service and professionally handle issues or escalations
-Work closely with the wider site management team to maintain high presentation standards across the shopping centre
What We're Looking For
-Previous cleaning experience is essential
-Previous supervisory or Duty Manager experience preferred
-Good English communication and customer service skills
-Ability to lead a team and work independently
-Reliable, proactive and hardworking attitude
-Flexible approach to working hours and operational needs
-Comfortable using mobile devices and completing basic reporting tasks
-Strong understanding of cleaning standards.
