Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Lead Dietitian to join Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The role is based at Liverpool Women’s Hospital. You will provide clinical, professional and operational leadership for dietetic services, with a focus on delivering safe, effective and person-centred care.

As a senior clinician with a passion for women’s health, you will lead specialist dietetic provision for gestational diabetes and support pathways across maternity services and gynaecological oncology. Working closely with maternity, diabetes, oncology and wider multidisciplinary teams, you will help to improve outcomes and experiences for women and families.

Service improvement is central to this post. You will lead on clinical governance, audit and quality improvement, developing and maintaining SOPs, clinical guidelines and pathways, reflecting best evidence and high standards of practice.

You will join a large teaching trust with opportunities to shape and influence women’s health dietetic services at senior level. We offer a supportive multidisciplinary environment and are committed to flexible working and continued professional development.

You will lead and support the dietetic team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care across inpatient and outpatient services. You will provide visible day-to-day leadership, contribute to service planning, and line manage staff through recruitment, appraisal, supervision and ongoing development, playing an active role in education and training for colleagues, students and the wider workforce.
