We are delighted to offer this opportunity for a Security Officer position at our client premises in the Barbican area.
Position: Security Officer
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Nights only)
Location: Barbican Area
Pay Rate: £16.78 per hour
Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable professional to join our security team. In this vital role, you will play a key part in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our site, staff, and visitors throughout the night shift. You will also provide valuable support to the Team Leader, stepping up to cover leadership duties during periods of annual leave or absence, helping to ensure smooth and continuous operation.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct regular site patrols to maintain a visible security presence
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems effectively
• Manage access and egress for staff and visitors
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies
• Complete accurate reports and maintain detailed logs
• Support the Team Leader and provide cover for leadership duties when required
• Assist in overseeing shift operations and upholding site procedures
• Champion compliance with all security protocols at all times
