About the Role
Avo Care is looking for a compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Care Assistant to support two lovely elderly clients based in Upton and Wareham.
This role involves providing person-centred care, companionship, meal preparation, and light support around the home. Both clients are friendly, welcoming individuals who enjoy conversation and companionship as part of their daily support.
You will support:
* One client for 3 hours per day in Upton
* One client for 3 hours per day in Wareham
This is an ideal role for someone who genuinely enjoys helping others and building meaningful relationships with elderly clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing companionship and emotional support
* Assisting with meal preparation
* Supporting with light household duties
* Encouraging independence and wellbeing
* Monitoring and reporting any concerns
* Following care plans and company policies
* Communicating professionally with families and the care team
Requirements
* Previous care experience preferred
* Compassionate, patient, and reliable nature
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
* Ability to travel between Upton and Wareham daily
* Good communication skills and spoken English
* Enhanced DBS preferred (or willingness to obtain one)
* Right to work in the UK
* No sponsorship available
