Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

The Role

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, highly motivated, and enthusiastic KS2 teacher to join our KS2 team. This is a fixed term, full-time position, in the first instance beginning 1st September 2026 and ending 31st August 2027 due to budgetary constraints.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering a rich, creative curriculum that inspires children, builds their independence, and prepares them confidently for KS1.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
• Assess, track, and report on pupils’ progress, adapting teaching to support and challenge all learners.
• Maintain a positive, well-managed, and inspiring classroom environment.
• Foster strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external support staff.
• Contribute actively to the wider school community and participate in staff meetings and professional development.

What We Are Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers are welcome.
• Proven experience teaching within Reception.
• High expectations for pupil achievement, progress, and behaviour.
• A collaborative team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
