To act as Personal Assistant to members of the Women and Children’s Senior Leadership Team, liaising with various levels of personnel including operational staff, managers, matrons, clinical director and senior clinicians.
This post is a12‑month Fixed term/ secondment opportunity, covering Maternity Leaveand provides administrative and organisational support to ensure the effective running of the Senior Leadership Team.
The post holder will be expected to work accurately under pressure, with the ability to manage and prioritise own workload. The role involves providing and receiving complex, sensitive or contentious information, requiring tact, diplomacy and persuasive skills.
• The role provides confidential administrative support to the senior nursing team in Women and Children’s services.
• It involves managing diaries, organising meetings, preparing papers and taking accurate minutes.
• The post holder will keep office systems running smoothly, maintain personnel files and ensure training and appraisal records are up to date.
• They will handle sensitive information with care, work independently in a busy environment and prioritise tasks as demands change.
• The role also includes managing emails, documents and shared drives,
supporting day-to-day office needs and using initiative to solve problems
when required.
