Summary

Refrigeration Installation Engineer

Location: Westbury

Salary: £31,000 - £33,400 DOE (OTE up to £37,500 with overtime)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 (0.5-hour unpaid break - 40 hours per week)

We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Installation Engineer to join a growing technical team within an award-winning commercial vehicle environment.

The Role

As a Refrigeration Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality installations, inspections, and preventative maintenance on vehicle refrigeration systems.

You will work as part of a skilled technical team, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

This role suits someone hands-on, detail-focused, and committed to delivering excellent engineering work within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Refrigeration Installation Engineer:

• Carry out refrigeration installations on commercial vehicles
• Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance
• Maintain workshop cleanliness, including oil spill and dust control
• Work with repair teams to diagnose faults and plan repairs
• Ensure all work meets safety and performance standards
• Support smooth workflow across the technical department

Skills & experience required

• Proven experience as a Refrigeration Installation Engineer
• F-Gas Category 1 qualification (City & Guilds 2079-11)
• Knowledge of ODS Regulations and handling fluorinated gases
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines effectively
• Resilient, motivated, and a strong team player
• Excellent time management skills
