About the Role
Glevum Security is looking for a professional and reliable Control Room Controller to join our operations team. This is a key position within our control room environment, working closely alongside our CCTV Operators to ensure effective coordination of security operations and rapid response to incidents.
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling incoming calls, dispatching mobile patrol units, monitoring ongoing incidents, and maintaining clear communication between clients, patrol officers, and the control room team.
Key Responsibilities
Answer and manage incoming alarm and customer calls professionally
Dispatch mobile patrol officers to incidents and assignments efficiently
Liaise closely with CCTV Operators regarding live incidents and monitoring activities
Maintain accurate incident logs and records
Monitor patrol activity and ensure timely responses
Communicate effectively with clients, emergency services, and security personnel
Escalate incidents where necessary in line with company procedures
Ensure all control room procedures and compliance standards are followed
Requirements
Previous experience in a control room, security, or dispatch environment preferred
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Good IT and administrative skills
Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 4 on / 4 off rotation
SIA licence preferred but not essential (depending on role requirements)
