Duties of A Service Advisor:
- Managing customer bookings to ensure workshop efficiency
- Providing regular updates to customers about vehicle progress and repair times
- Producing accurate job cards, invoices, estimates, and associated documentation
- Clearly explaining completed work to clients
- Identifying additional aftersales opportunities when appropriate
- Liaising with parts department regarding parts availability
- Recording retail, warranty, and non-chargeable repairs precisely
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction at all times
Requirements of A Service Advisor:
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor is highly advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
- Strong administrative and organisational abilities
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience working within an office or administrative environment is desirable
- Kerridge system knowledge would be beneficial
- Customer-focused attitude and professional approach
