Summary
Support Worker -
Pay rate: £14.50- £15.50
Shift Pattern: 8:00-20:00 / 20:00pm - 08:00am
We’re looking for someone who will enjoy supporting an individual with a spinal injury who lives within their own home in Portsmouth.They're a vibrant person with their own interests, routines, and personality. They loves getting out into the community, watching Sports like football, boxing and Horse races.
Because they love being out and about, we’re seeking people who know the Portsmouth area well and can drive, holding a FULL UK Driving Licence.

Hoisting
Medication
You’ll be offering high‑quality, 1:1 support that is shaped around his needs, preferences, and communication style. This includes:
Spending time with him in ways that feel meaningful and enjoyable
Supporting him to access the community and build positive social experiences
Helping with household tasks so his home environment remains comfortable and organised
Communicating clearly and confidently in the way he understands best, helping to build a trusting and positive relationship
We’re seeking people who have experience in:
Complex care
Manual Handling
Just as important is your ability to stay calm, communicate openly, and build warm, trusting connections. Your presence will make a real difference in his everyday life.
