We are currently recruiting for an experienced Repairs Supervisor to join a leading social housing contractor covering South London on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and customer-focused supervisor with a strong background in responsive repairs, voids, and planned maintenance within occupied properties.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of operatives and subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while delivering excellent customer service to residents.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise day-to-day responsive repairs and maintenance operations across social housing properties
- Manage and support a team of operatives and subcontractors
- Carry out pre and post inspections to ensure quality and compliance
- Ensure all works are completed within agreed KPIs and SLAs
- Monitor productivity, performance, and health & safety standards
- Liaise with tenants, clients, and internal teams to resolve issues effectively
- Ensure materials, resources, and labour are allocated efficiently
- Update and maintain accurate records using PDA systems and scheduling software
- Support the delivery of excellent customer satisfaction across all contracts
- Previous experience working as a Repairs Supervisor within social housing or property maintenance
- Strong knowledge of responsive repairs and voids
- Experience managing operatives and subcontractors
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively
- Full UK driving licence
- SSSTS/SMSTS preferred
- Good understanding of health & safety regulations
- £27 per hour
