Are you a technical leader ready to transition into a strategic client-management and mentorship role? We are representing a Leading Specialist in the geophysical sector, renowned for delivering high-accuracy subsurface mapping. This is an opportunity to move beyond daily field operations and take ownership of the full project lifecycle, focusing on business growth, quality assurance, and the development of a high-performing technical team.

The Opportunity

Joining an elite Geophysics team, you will be instrumental in the end-to-end management of underground utility mapping projects. This role prioritizes business development and client relationship management, serving as the primary technical point of contact from initial inquiry to final delivery. You will lead the "post-process" phase, transforming massive datasets into strategic insights. Beyond project delivery, you will be the cornerstone of the department’s Quality Assurance (QA) and Mentorship programs, ensuring technical excellence across the junior surveying team.

Technical & Leadership Essentials

To be successful in this remit, you must demonstrate:

- Leadership & Mentorship: 5-10 + years sector experience with 2–3 years of that spent directly supervising, training, and shaping the professional growth of early-career surveyors.

- Client Management: Proven ability to manage the full project lifecycle, acting as the bridge between client requirements and technical delivery.

- Quality Assurance: High-level expertise in auditing PAS 128-compliant surveys and ensuring data integrity across complex infrastructure and rail projects.

- Business Development: Ability to conduct client & site visits to identify new opportunities, assure quality and provide technical consultancy.

- Data Synthesis: Expert proficiency in analysing large-scale geophysical datasets using AutoCAD and Geolitix.

- Qualifications: QCF Level 5 Surveyor with 10+ years of sector experience; valid CSCS card and UK driving license.
