Data Analyst
A leading travel organisation is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join a high-profile project delivering a brand-new reservation and booking system .
You will play a key role in ensuring software quality across multiple test phases, working closely with developers, business stakeholders, and project leads to identify issues early and ensure smooth delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency
Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualisations for stakeholders
Translate business requirements into data analysis and reporting solutions
Support strategic and operational decision-making through data-driven insights
Work closely with business, technical, and operational teams to understand data needs
Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with data governance standards
Document data definitions, assumptions, and methodologies
Support ad-hoc analysis and respond to data queries as required
Technical Responsibilities
Use analytical tools such as SQL, Excel, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent
Perform data modelling and transformation activities
Maintain and optimise queries and data pipelines
Support data integration and system enhancements
Governance & Compliance
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR)
Follow organisational security and access control policies
Support audits and data assurance activities
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve data processes and reporting efficiency
Support automation of recurring reports and analysis
Keep up to date with best practices in data analytics and visualisation
