We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic graduate to join the team as an Unqualified Maths Teacher at a reputable, high-achieving secondary school in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to pursue a career in education to gain invaluable classroom experience before training to become a qualified teacher.
What's the role?
You'll be teaching effective maths lessons to children working across Key Stage 3 and 4 to support children with varying abilities and contributing to a positive learning environment.
As a Graduate Unqualified Maths Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver high-quality maths lessons under the guidance of experienced educators
Support student progress and attainment through effective teaching strategies
Assess, monitor and report on student progress
Manage the classroom in line with school policies
Contribute to the inclusive school community
Who are we looking for?
A 2:1 or higher degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine interest in working with young people
Resilience, adaptability and a willingness to learn
Previous experience of working with young people is desirable but not essential.
