Halo Staffing is urgently seeking dedicated and reliable Support Workers to join our team in Gloucester. We have immediate openings within the local community, as well as broader opportunities for those willing to travel to surrounding areas like Cheltenham, Stroud, and Tewkesbury.

Pay: £12.60 – £19.20 per hour*

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Person-Centred Care: Providing support tailored to the unique physical and emotional needs of children and young people.

Personal Care: Assisting with tasks with sensitivity and respect, including help with dressing, hygiene, and toileting.

Daily Routines: Helping with school prep, educational activities, and structured daily life.

Safety & Nurturing: Ensuring a safe and supportive environment both at home and within the Gloucestershire community.

Independence: Maintaining dignity while promoting essential life skills and independence.

Social Inclusion: Supporting children to attend local clubs, Cotswold outdoor activities, and community events.

Requirements:
Previous experience in childcare, youth work, or paediatric support (preferred).

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is highly advantageous for accessing broader Gloucestershire opportunities, though not essential for local Gloucester city roles.

Right to work in the UK and excellent communication skills.
