An exciting opportunity has become available for a dedicated and compassionate Part Time Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-equipped, RCVS accredited veterinary practice in Telford, Shropshire. This role is ideal for a Veterinary Surgeon seeking a supportive environment, excellent clinical standards and genuine career development opportunities within a friendly and collaborative team.
The successful candidate will work 30 hours per week across 3 days, with a 1 in 6 weekend rota at the sister 24-hour hospital. The role offers a varied caseload, access to excellent facilities and the opportunity to deliver exceptional patient and client care.
About the Practice
This modern and well-equipped veterinary practice is located in the popular town of Telford and offers a high standard of first opinion and surgical care. The practice is fully RCVS accredited and equipped with advanced veterinary technology including:
ECG
In-house laboratory
Orthopaedic theatre
Ultrasound
Digital X-ray
Modern surgical and diagnostic equipment
The successful Veterinary Surgeon will join an experienced and supportive team of veterinary professionals committed to clinical excellence and outstanding client care.
The Role
As a Part Time Veterinary Surgeon, responsibilities will include:
Delivering exceptional clinical care through consultations and surgery
Diagnosing and managing a varied caseload
Creating tailored treatment plans in partnership with clients
Maintaining the highest standards of patient care, compliance and clinical governance
Working collaboratively with colleagues across the practice and wider hospital network
Supporting a positive and inclusive team culture
About You
The ideal candidate will:
Be a qualified MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon
Have a passion for high-quality clinical care and client service
Be confident working within a team-focused environment
Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
Be committed to continuous professional development
