The Opportunity
Stafford Lawrence is sourcing a dedicated Quantity Surveyor / Cost Consultant for a major luxury residential development on The Pearl-Qatar. This QAR 50M project involves the construction of a high-spec, 5,000 m² private villa. Middle East experience is NOT a prerequisite
We are seeking a professional with strong post-contract experience to manage the project from the basement and superstructure phases through to the final high-end fit-out and external works. This is a site-based role requiring a team player with a professional, client-facing demeanour.
Requirements for the Quantity Surveyor Residential Qatar
Education: Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management. As well as a preference for Chartered Status MRICS or MCIOB
Experience: A proven Main Contractor / Contracting background Or Consultancy with some Main Contracting is essential, with specific experience on high-value residential or commercial builds.
Skills: Strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage complex, site-based requirements effectively.
Attributes: You must be available to commence the role in early June 2026 and possess the communication skills necessary for high-level client interaction.
Project Scope
You will be responsible for all commercial and cost management aspects of this landmark villa project both pre and post contract, ensuring the delivery remains within budget while maintaining the uncompromising quality standards required for a residence of this caliber.
Salary & Benefits Package for the Quantity Surveyor Residential Qatar
Your 25,000 QAR – 35,000 QAR tax-free total package is based on your experience and includes:
Mobilisation and demobilisation flights (we'll fly you in and out).
Laptop, Mobile Phone, and Visa (all costs covered by the company).
