From preparing and presenting a high-quality breakfast buffet to preparing delicious brunch, lunch and conference dishes, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming and memorable guest experience each morning.

About the Role

As Breakfast Chef, you’ll take overall responsibility for breakfast operations within the kitchen, ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, cleanliness and service.

You’ll create a calm and organised breakfast environment while working efficiently to deliver an excellent guest experience, even during busy periods.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting up and preparing for breakfast service to ensure a smooth and organised operation
  • Preparing, cooking and presenting a range of breakfast dishes to brand and company specifications
  • Supporting and facilitating special guest requests wherever possible
  • Monitoring portion control and waste to help maintain profitability
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, health and safety and cleanliness at all times

About You

You’re an early riser who is at their best first thing in the morning, is passionate about food and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Strong cooking skills gained within a busy kitchen environment
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills with a positive and approachable attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality
  • The ability to remain calm, organised and focused under pressure
  • A proactive, self-motivated and confident approach
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene and health & safety standards
  • Flexibility and a hands-on attitude with a willingness to support the wider team
  • A hard-working mindset combined with a fun and positive energy

Experience within hotels is desirable, but we welcome applications with experience from all backgrounds.

Benefits

Our rewards package includes:

  • Career development through fully funded apprenticeships and our internal development programme.
  • Discounts on hotel stays and a variety of major retailers, restaurants and days out.
  • Free use of our gyms, pools, and leisure facilities.
  • 24/7 access to wellbeing, financial, and legal support.

Next Steps

A member of our team will be in touch to arrange a 15-minute phone conversation with shortlisted candidates. This will be an opportunity to learn more about the role and for us to understand your experience in more detail. If successful at this stage, you will be invited to meet with the Hiring Manager.

We review applications as they come in, so apply early to avoid missing out. We may close the role once we’ve found the right person.
