About us

PA Media Group is the UK’s leading provider of trusted news, information and data services. For more than 150 years, we’ve played
a central role in the UK media ecosystem.

Today, we’re evolving.

As the communications landscape shifts, we are building a more integrated, commercially focused marketing communications division,
bringing together specialist brands including Mediapoint, Hydrogen, Sticky and PA Media Assignments into one powerful, joined-up
proposition.

About the opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join Mediapoint, our market-leading media intelligence platform, as a Senior Sales Executive.

In this role, you’ll focus on winning new business and building relationships with clients across corporate, public and
not-for-profit sectors. You’ll help organisations better understand the news agenda, connect with media and strengthen their
communications activity.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys developing new opportunities, building strong relationships and managing the sales process
from first conversation through to close. You’ll use a consultative approach, taking time to understand client challenges and
recommending the right solutions.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across Sales and Marketing as part of a supportive commercial team. This role will also
involve helping and supporting more junior team members where needed, as well as participating in cross-divisional multi-service
deals.

What you’ll be doing

• Identifying and developing new business opportunities within your territory
• Speaking with prospective clients to understand their PR and communications needs
• Demonstrating how Mediapoint products and services can support client objectives
• Managing the full sales cycle, from outreach and meetings through to negotiation and close
• Building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline and keeping forecasts up to date
• Working with Marketing on campaigns, inbound leads and sales activity
• Supporting sales strategies to increase territory growth and revenue opportunities
• Collaborating with colleagues across the wider PR & Marketing Services division
• Supporting and sharing knowledge with junior Sales Executives

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, developing new business opportunities and working in a fast-paced
commercial environment.

You’ll likely bring:

• Experience managing the sales process from prospecting through to close
• A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Experience in consultative or solution-based sales
• Confidence managing your own sales territory and pipeline
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive and resilient approach

It would be great if you also have:

• Experience using consultative sales methodologies such as SPIN or Challenger
• Experience selling multiple products or services
• An understanding of upselling and cross-selling opportunities
• Experience within media, technology, PR, marketing, financial services or similar sectors

This role would suit someone who is looking to take the next step in their sales career within a supportive and growing business.

Why join us

* Be part of a growing, evolving division with a clear ambition to build a more integrated and commercially focused marketing
communications offering
* Sell a market-leading product – Mediapoint sits at the intersection of data, insight and communications strategy
* High-impact role with clear ownership of your pipeline and contribution to revenue growth
* Continue to grow and develop your skills in consultative sales within a supportive, ambitious team
* Opportunity to support and guide junior Sales Executives while contributing to wider team success
* Exposure to a wider portfolio – collaborate across the division and contribute to broader commercial opportunities
* Competitive salary with performance-based bonus (uncapped earning potential)
* Hybrid, flexible working typically 3 days in the Paddington office
* 25 days’ holiday plus options to buy more, alongside enhanced family leave
* Life assurance 4x salary
* Wellbeing and volunteering days to support you inside and outside of work
