Welder - Temp to Perm
Location: Oldham
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09.00 - 18:00
Pay Rate: Starting at £16 per hour
Our client, based in Ashton-Under-Lyne, is looking to recruit an Welder to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a long-term role, with the potential to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks.
The Role:- Welding and fabrication of steel
- Cutting of metal to required size
- MIG and TIG welding
- Using hand and power tools
- Manual handling - good physical fitness is essential
- Recent, solid work history (work references will be checked at interview stage)
- Welding experience is essential
- Hands-on, practical skills
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills (tests will be carried out at interview)
- Reliability, good attention to detail, and willingness to learn
- £16 per hour starting rate
- Overtime available at enhanced rates
