At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're looking for an Asset / Supply Chain Coordinator to play a vital role in maintaining operational excellence and data integrity across our portfolio.
This role is central to ensuring asset information is accurate, compliant, and actionable. You'll take ownership of daily asset monitoring across all regions, working closely with technicians, supply chain partners, and internal stakeholders to support performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Role Responsibilities:
-Monitor asset-related activities across all regions, ensuring condition updates and remedial actions are accurately recorded against the correct assets.
-Validate the accuracy and completeness of asset data entered by technicians, subcontractors, and supply chain partners.
-Track and assess the timeliness and quality of asset updates and maintenance records.
-Produce daily and weekly compliance and performance reports, escalating recurring issues or non-compliance to the Associate Asset Manager.
-Liaise with technicians, supervisors, and supply chain contacts to ensure understanding and adherence to asset data standards.
-Support supplier performance management, ensuring documentation, billing records, and audit trails are maintained.
-Provide insights and feedback to inform improvement plans, training needs, and data governance standards.
-Use asset management systems (CMMS / EAM / CAFM) to track updates and support data entry where required.
Required Qualifications:
-GCSEs or equivalent qualification; further education in data management, engineering, or facilities management is desirable.
-Experience in a coordination or administrative role within a technical, engineering, or facilities management environment.
-Familiarity with asset management systems and maintenance workflows.
What we're looking for:
-Strong data handling and analysis skills to support performance baselines, reviews, and reporting.
-Good commercial awareness, including billing accuracy, cost control, and contract adherence.
-Clear verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging a wide range of stakeholders.
-Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively using structured approaches (e.g. 80/20 principle).
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including disciplined document management and version control.
-Advanced Excel capability, including formulas, lookups (INDEX/MATCH/XLOOKUP), pivot tables, and data validation.
-Ability to work autonomously and ensure timely, accurate updates within CAFM and asset management systems.
Desirable:
-Experience working with subcontractors or supply chain partners.
-Knowledge of ISO 55000 or similar asset management frameworks.
-Experience in a compliance, governance, or quality assurance role.
What's in it for you?
