As part of our expansion into health and social care services, we are seeking a proactive Recruitment Officer to support the hiring of Personal Assistants (PAs) for our clients across the sector from our Chester office.
Please note: This position is for 20 hours per week and salary is paid pro-rata.
The Role
This part-time role (20 hours per week) is perfect for a recruitment professional who wants to make a real impact by sourcing and hiring high-quality Personal Assistants who provide essential care and support to clients in health and social care.
You will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring that only the best candidates are matched to our clients’ needs.
Key Responsibilities
Managing full recruitment cycles for Personal Assistants, from job postings to onboarding
Drafting and publishing job adverts on relevant platforms and social media
Screening applications and conducting initial telephone/video interviews
Coordinating interviews with clients
Conducting reference and background checks in line with safeguarding requirements
Supporting onboarding and induction processes for new PAs
Maintaining accurate recruitment records and compliance documentation
Acting as a point of contact for candidates and clients throughout the recruitment process
Ensuring adherence to health and social care sector regulations, including safeguarding and DBS checks
Skills & Experience
Desirable:
Previous experience in recruitment, preferably within health, social care, or professional services
Knowledge of DBS checks, safeguarding, and compliance requirements
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, discreet, and able to handle sensitive information
Experience recruiting care staff or Personal Assistants
Familiarity with relevant UK health and social care legislation and best practice
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
