About me
A kind, patient, and engaging Personal Assistant / Child Support Worker is required to support a bright, lively, and fun-loving 10-year-old child with cerebral palsy in a home-based setting within the EN7 area.
The child has limited mobility, uses a wheelchair, and also crawls around the home. They have a vibrant personality, enjoy music and karaoke, and thrive when supported by someone warm, playful, and encouraging.
This rewarding role is designed to support both the child and provide valuable respite for parents. The successful candidate will focus on building a positive and trusting relationship through fun, meaningful activities while ensuring safe and supportive care.

Hours and rate of pay
3–6 hours per week
Mainly Saturdays (flexible)
Additional 1–2 days during school holidays
Hourly Rate:
£16 per hour

Location Cheshunt (EN7)
DBS/Checks Confirmation of DBS check
Right to Work and references will be needed.
Training Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:
• Introduction to first aid
• Health and Safety

What you would be doing… Engaging in play and enjoyable activities, particularly music and karaoke
Providing general care, support, and supervision
Occasionally assisting with toileting
Supporting with occasional community outings
Encouraging independence, confidence, and social interaction

Genuine enjoyment of working with children
Warm, fun, patient, and understanding nature
Calm and supportive approach
Previous care experience preferred
Epilepsy awareness/training beneficial (training can be provided)
UK driving licence preferred but not essential
