Job Description:

Support Worker: Preston

We have an exciting opportunity for confident and experienced support workers

Key Job Role Information

Role – Male Support workers

Location- Preston

Salary - £14.65 per hour (inclusive of holiday entitlement)

Shifts - Our Shifts are 8am – 20:00 pm Day shifts

Expected hours – 24 – 48 per week

Key Role essentials and responsibilities –

- Full Uk drivers’ licence

- Competent verbal and written English

- Must have experience within health and social care settings

Meet the person you’ll be supporting:

Who am I? I am a middle-aged gentleman
What challenges do I have? I have ASD, ADHD, LD, and Psychosis. i have a history of substance misuse, which I am working on, I do need prompting with completing day to day tasks. I also have challenging behaviours.
What activities do I like to do? I like to play poker and chess, I love seeing my mum she is very important to me, I also have been going to the gym recently which i enjoy
What types of people do I get along with? I get along with a variety of people,
My team

How many people support me at one time? I am supported on a 2:1 ratio of a daytime and 2-1 for the night shifts
What shift patterns do my team do? My shift pattern in days and waking nights
What are my team trained in? My staff will get a bespoke training course specifically to cover my needs.
