Summary

Could you be our next Support Worker?
Here at Sense, we support people with complex disabilities to live the life they choose. We're looking for Support Workers to join our small, welcoming service in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. We have both full-time (37.5 hours) and part-time (20 hours) permanent contracts available at £13.00 per hour, on a rolling two-week rota including weekends and bank holidays.

Lilac Grove is home to 3 residents with complex needs, and we're proud to support them to live the lives they choose. With the beautiful Wiltshire countryside on our doorstep, there's always something to enjoy; from swimming and wall climbing to day trips, holidays, and lunch at local cafés and pubs.

Communication is at the heart of what we do here. You'll need to be open to learning different communication methods to build meaningful connections with the people you support. No two days are the same.

What you'll be doing:
Supporting with everyday tasks like cooking, cleaning, and personal care
Helping manage finances, medication, and wellbeing
Getting out into the community for activities, trips, and social outings
Encouraging independence and empowerment in everything you do
Who we're looking for:
Positive, with a can-do attitude
Caring, empathetic, and a good communicator
Flexible and able to cover all shifts across the rota
Experience with complex needs, or willing to learn
Willing to attend training to support you in your role
Passionate about enhancing other people's lives
A full UK driving licence and willingness to drive our Sense vehicle (Renault Trafic) is desirable, as many activities involve getting out and about
Some knowledge of BSL is desirable
