Secondary Learning Support Assistant - Bridgwater
Full-Time Opportunity | Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a supportive secondary school in the Bridgwater area to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant.
This rewarding role will involve supporting students on a 1:1 basis, as well as delivering small group interventions to help pupils achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
The role:
- Provide 1:1 support for students with additional learning needs
- Deliver small group interventions focused on engagement and progress
- Support students both inside and outside of the classroom
- Work closely with teaching staff and the SEN department
- Help promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
- Be patient, resilient, and adaptable
- Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Be passionate about supporting student development and wellbeing
