Summary
To accurately and responsibly carry out instructions of the registered members of the multi-disciplinary nursing team who are professionally accountable for the delivery of care. To report to qualified staff any patient that gives cause for concern and any observed changes in a patients clinical condition. To report all care that has been given to patients within the multi-disciplinary team and document accurately whilst maintaining confidentiality To be aware of and adhere to all trust policies/procedures/guidelines when undertaking any activities. To make patients welcome to the clinical area and undertake observations and post procedural care under the minimal supervision of the registered practitioner. Provide and deliver a high standard of individualised personal care. Understand and attend to the biopsychosocial needs of the patient, relatives, and carers. Undertake monitoring of observations ensuring documentation is accurate, legible. Adhere to Trust infection control procedure demonstrating an understanding of cross infection. Support and continue care initiated by transferring wards. Please see the attached job description for full details.
