- Provide one-to-one and small group support to SEND students
- Assist with the implementation of individualised education plans
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support
- Facilitate learning activities and reinforce concepts to help students progress
- Adapt teaching materials and resources to meet the unique needs of SEND students
- Monitor and record student progress, maintaining detailed records
- Promote the inclusion and participation of SEND students in all aspects of school life
- Relevant experience working with SEND students in an educational setting
- Strong understanding of SEND-specific teaching strategies and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting SEND students
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficient in using assistive technologies and digital resources
- Qualification in Teaching Assistant, Learning Support, or a related field is desirable
