Summary
The postholder will play a central role in delivering high-quality knowledge mobilisation activity by supporting implementation, evaluation and continuous improvement across programmes. Working with internal teams and research leads, they will synthesise and critically appraise evidence from multiple sources, translating complex findings into accessible, user-friendly formats such as briefings, toolkits and reports. They will promote evidence-informed decision-making and apply structured approaches, including recognised knowledge mobilisation frameworks, such as the Knowledge to Action framework , to maximise impact. A key focus will be supporting the identification and assessment of interventions suitable for wider adoption, including evaluating readiness, barriers and enabling factors. The postholder will apply systematic tools to assess scalability and contribute to planning effective implementation pathways. The postholder will contribute to developing system-wide capability by supporting training, internships and fellowship activity, as well as producing rapid evidence summaries and other practical resources to enhance knowledge mobilisation practice. Excellent communication skills are essential, including the ability to produce clear, engaging content for non-academic audiences and adapt messaging for different stakeholders. The role includes developing public-facing materials such as case studies and reports, delivering presentations, and working with communications teams on campaigns and stakeholder engagement.
