Summary
Approved Electrician – Commercial / Industrial
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Approved Electrician to join our team working on commercial and industrial projects. The role will predominantly involve 1st and 2nd fix electrical installations, including final circuits installed in conduit and singles systems.
Key Responsibilities
Installation of containment systems including conduit, tray, basket, and trunking
Wiring of final circuits using singles in conduit installations
Carrying out 1st fix and 2nd fix electrical works
Installation and termination of lighting, power, distribution boards, and associated equipment
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
Testing, inspection, and fault finding where required
Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with current BS 7671 regulations
Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site
Coordinating with supervisors, site managers, and other trades
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
ECS/JIB Gold Card (Approved Electrician)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Experience with commercial and/or industrial installations
Proven experience installing conduit and singles systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good understanding of site health & safety procedures
Desirable
IPAF and/or PASMA certification
2391 Inspection & Testing qualification
Experience on large-scale commercial or industrial projects
