Summary
Join our enthusiastic team throughout the school holiday periods (Easter, Summer & Winter) at Newark Academy. Coaching our Multi-Sport and Creative Activities course through the Holiday, Activities and Food programme, funded by the Department of Education.
A Lead Coach would be responsible for leading the holiday camp and coaching our planned activities to children ages 5 - 16 years old, with assistance from the onsite assistant coaches. Activities follow planned daily structure provided in advance of the holiday programme start date.
Responsibilities:
Coaching planned activities to children aged 5 – 16 years old, through Arts & Crafts and Physical Activity.
Ensure arrival to site in a timely prompt manner (15 minutes in advance).
Ensure registers are completed in a timely manner.
Safeguarding of children (training will be provided).
Ensure all children are supervised at all times (activities, breaks & lunch).
Provide a review to our Regional Lead following each day.
Maintain a professional approach, being punctual, organised and setting high expectations for children attending.
Promote an ethos of inclusion and adaptability.
Promote our values of BeYou, BeKind & BeGreat.
Working days are based on team availability and can be flexible, we typically operate a 4-day working week from 9:30am until 2:30pm.
