Summary
Connect Appointments is recruiting Order Pickers to join an established logistics business based in Bathgate on a full-time ongoing basis, with the opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidates.
What's on offer?
- Full-time ongoing position with the opportunity for permanent employment
- You work 5 days out of 7 - working back shift
- Start time of 16:30/17:30 till finish - circa 8/9 hours per shift
- Paid weekly at £15.20 to £19 per hour:
- £15.20 per hour between 4am and 10pm
- £19.00 per hour between 10pm and 4am
As an Order Picker, your duties will include:
- Using headsets, barcodes and serial numbers to locate and pick correct items for shipment
- Safely picking items from shelves and packaging completed orders
- Unloading deliveries and assisting with the distribution of goods throughout the warehouse
- Completing all necessary invoicing and paperwork accurately
- Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse environment
To be considered as an Order Picker, you will need:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment
- The ability to operate picking machines and carry out manual picking as required
- The ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- A reliable, team-focused approach to work
