Summary


We are looking to appoint a new Specialty Doctor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology; this is a substantive post.
You will join a team working closely alongside our consultants and other Specialty Doctors. The post comprises 10 programmed activities (PAs), which could be modified for a candidate preferring to work 10 PAs or less than full time.
This is an excellent opportunity within the Obstetrics & Gynaecology department at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust, based at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage, which enjoys a unique geographical location close to London and Cambridge. The Trust also enjoys a reputation for our commitment to the highest standards of care and for our friendly and supportive approach
• Being part of the on call Obsterics and gynaecology on call rota-providing safe care to labouring women on labour ward.
• Gynaecology theatre sessions
• Specialist Gynaecological clinics
• Participation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology emergency care
• To participate in the department’s teaching, audit, and educational activities
