Summary
The Best Connection has a fantastic opportunity to recruit a Production Operative to join an established manufacturing client on a temp-to-perm basis following a successful trial period.
The company specialises in manufacturing wooden structures for a variety of industries and is looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join their growing production team. Full training will be provided for candidates who have basic experience using hand and power tools and are willing to learn and develop within the role.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term work with the potential for a permanent position.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4.15pm
Pay:
£12.71 Mon to Fri
£19.06 OT after 40 hrs & Sat
£25.42 OT on Sun
Production Operative Duties:
- Operating and monitoring production machinery and equipment
- Using hand and power tools to assemble wooden structures
- Carrying out quality checks on completed products
- Performing basic troubleshooting and adjustments to machinery
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the work area
- Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience using hand and power tools preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Willingness to learn and undertake training
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
- Good attention to detail
- Physically fit, as the role involves being on your feet and manual handling duties
Additional Information:
- Due to the location, candidates must either drive or live locally, as public transport is limited
