Summary
Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a motivated and capable apprentice technician in the area of computer science. This is an entry level technician role, with an expectation to complete a fully funded level 3 apprenticeship in laboratory Technician, with an option to complete a level 3 BTEC in applied science. This qualification will take two years of study to complete
We are particularly interested to hear from candidates with a thirst to learn. While having the ability to build relationships, communicate clearly and effectively and be a devoted team player.
The role of Apprentice Technician (Computer Science) is key to ensuring students within SSEE can receive the best student experience possible in the degree programmes that encompass. The successful candidate will apply their knowledge to the area of computer science. They will support the lead technicians in daily routines, such as assembling, maintaining, and optimising computer systems. They will source and procure consumables and equipment and ensure laboratories and users are health and safety compliant.
